About

Empowering Clients To Overcome Adversities

I have been married to my husband, Joe Sizemore, for over 30 years. He has been my steady partner through every chapter of life. Together, we have a daughter, Savannah, and a wonderful son-in-law, Stephen. I am also proud to be “Gigi” to our first grandbaby, Shepherd. He has brought so much joy and light into our lives. My family means everything to me and has supported me every step of the way. My journey in healthcare started when I was just 18 years old as a Certified Nursing Assistant. I later became a Licensed Practical Nurse after training at Washington-Holmes in Chipley, Florida, where I was the youngest student in my class. For 15 years, I worked as an LPN in many different settings—hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, and home health. These experiences helped me truly understand people and their needs at all stages of life. As my daughter grew older, I went back to school to become a Registered Nurse. I earned both my Associate Degree and my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chipola State College right here in Marianna. Life has not always been easy. My family and I lost our home during Hurricane Michael, and I also walked closely with my father through his battle with dementia and cancer. Those experiences changed me. They made me stronger, more understanding, and more committed to caring for others with patience and compassion. In 2020, I became a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner after graduating from Regis College. Today, I provide mental health care for children, teens, and adults, with a special focus on helping those who often have a harder time getting the care they need. My father’s journey especially shaped how I care for my patients. I believe in truly listening, standing up for my patients, and making sure families feel supported and never alone. At the heart of everything I do is a simple belief: everyone deserves to feel better, to be heard, and to live a full and meaningful life. I am here to walk beside you and your family every step of the way.
